Belt conveyors are designed to transport rock mass along rectilinear panel workings with an angle of inclination from -3 to +6 degrees.
During operation, the conveyor receives the transported material from the previous belt conveyor (or scraper drift conveyor), transports it along the panel, and transfers the material to the next panel belt conveyor or to the main belt conveyor.
Belt conveyors can be used as part of a hydro-mechanized complex.
